Senate Transportation Committee Chair Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, on the second floor Rotunda outside the Lieutenant Governor’s Office in the State Capitol in Harrisburg.
He will call for passage of legislation, Senate Bill 382, to reform the Public-Private Transportation Partnership (P3) statute and void a plan by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to begin tolling nine bridges throughout this Commonwealth.
He will be joined by legislators whose districts would be impacted by PennDOT’s Pathways Major Bridge P3 Initiative, including Senators Cris Dush (R-25), Scott Hutchinson (R- 21), Bob Mensch (R-24), Mike Regan (R-31), Devlin Robinson (R-37), and Pat Stefano (R-32).
