(HARRISBURG) – State Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) announced today that the Commonwealth Financing Agency (CFA) has awarded $2,549,411 in grants for economic development projects. The grants are part of the Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund (GEDTF).
“The funding approved today will have a tremendous impact in Allegheny County and benefit our communities for decades to com. From stormwater improvements in Bridgeville to the ballfields in South Fayette, I am pleased to see these local projects receive state funding for important public improvements. I commend the Authority for its continued investment in economic development.”

Montour Run Market Place – $250,000 - South Fayette Township
Fairview Park Ballfield Complex – $145,000 - Oakdale Borough
Town Center Improvements Center – $25,000 - South Hills Interfaith Ministries
SHIM Center ADA Renovation – $370,000 - Moon Township
Boggs Run Fire Station Waterline Extension – $150,000
Mooncrest Sewer Extension – $99,411 - Borough of Edgeworth
Church Lane Sanitary Sewer Lining – $100,000 - Pittsburgh Technical College
Corporate College – Advanced Welding Program – $250,000 - Ohio Township
PRP Improvements – $200,000 - Jefferson Memorial Park, Inc
Collaborative Leaf / Yard Waste Operation and Facility – $260,000 - Collier Township
Public Works Facility Sanitary Sewer Extension – $100,000
The grants were awarded by the CFA under its Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund and are dispersed by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County.
