Robinson, Costa to Host Annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony

HARRISBURG – Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) will join Senate Democratic Leader Jay Costa (D-43) to host the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony Tuesday, Dec. 12, at noon in the Main Rotunda of the Capitol, Harrisburg.

Every December for more than 30 years, volunteers throughout America coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies for the graves of veterans.

The participants and speakers will include:

  • Sens. Robinson, Costa and Doug Mastriano (R-33) and Katie Muth (D-44),
  • Rep. Mark Gillen (R-128),
  • Major General Mark Schindler, Pennsylvania National Guard,
  • David Klimas, volunteer chairperson and location leader for the Wreaths Across America Program,
  • Retired Army Corporal Harry Van Riper,
  • Eddie Brannan, Doc Roeder and Loretta Witkowski, Cumberland County Honor Guard
  • Alessia Iannuzzi, Carlisle High School senior and
  • Connor Behr, Boy Scout Troop 215.
