Robinson Designates April 2025 as Community College Month in Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG – Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37)  recently introduced Senate Resolution 34, which designates April 2025 as Community College Month in Pennsylvania. He was joined by fellow co-chair of the Community College Caucus, Sen. Lisa Boscola (D-18).

“Community colleges are vital to the next generation of Pennsylvania’s workforce and economy,” Robinson said. “I am proud to introduce this resolution to recognize the important role community colleges play in our higher education system.”

Pennsylvania is home to 15 public community colleges across 86 campus location, serving more than 245,000 students. In recent years, these institutions have developed more than 80 new programs in diverse and in-demand fields such as emergency services, health care and technology.

Robinson is an alumnus of the Community College of Allegheny County, which has seven campuses. The West Hills Campus is in Robinson’s district in North Fayette Township.
