Senator Camera Bartolotta and I recently hosted a press conference to honor the heroes involved in the lifesaving rescue following the trench collapse in Charleroi this summer. I worked alongside Senator Jay Costa, Rep. Dan Miller and PA State Rep. Natalie Mihalek, to advocate for $6 million to support the USAR task force as they work to ensure that western PA will have access to vital, life-saving resources during critical moments.
I am so grateful for all the emergency responders who assisted in this rescue mission!
