(HARRISBURG) – State Senator Devlin Robinson (R-37) has been named to six key committees in the Senate.
“Each of these committees will be addressing issues that will have a big impact on our community and the state,” Senator Robinson said. “The issues likely to be debated by these committees include the state budget, liquor reform, community development, the state’s unemployment system, among others.”
Senator Robinson was named vice chairman of the Law and Justice Committee and a member of the Appropriations Committee as well as Community, Economic and Recreational Development, Game and Fisheries, Labor and Industry and Local Government committees.
“Committees are a key part of the process in vetting and shaping legislation before it reaches the full Senate for consideration,” said Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R-34). “Devlin is well-suited for these key committees and we look forward to the important role he will play in this process.”
