Robinson to Host Monthly Meetings to Assist Local Veterans with Accessing Benefits

ALLEGHENY – Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) is offering monthly meetings to assist veterans with navigating their military benefits.

On the second Tuesday of each month, Robinson will host office hours with an American Legion veteran service officer from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at his Bethel Park district office, located at 1700 N. Highland Road, Suite 307, Pittsburgh. The service officer will be available by appointment to answer questions and provide guidance on health care, disability claims, GI Bill programs and other veteran-related benefits. The assistance is free.

“As a Marine veteran, I understand the challenges that many of our service members face when transitioning back to civilian life,” said Robinson. “These monthly meetings are an important resource to ensure that our veterans receive the support and benefits they deserve. I encourage all local veterans to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Veterans interested in meeting with the service officer are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling Robinson’s office at 412-785-3070. Veterans should bring their DD-214 forms to the meeting. The next scheduled day for assistance is Oct. 8.
