“These projects represent a significant investment in our communities, addressing urgent needs while improving the overall well-being of our residents,” said Robinson. “I’m honored to support these initiatives, which reflect the hard work and collaboration of local leaders and organizations dedicated to bettering our region.”
Oakdale Borough will receive $192,363 to stabilize the streambank along Clinton Avenue. The project involves installing riprap with stone to reduce erosion and mitigate flooding risks, enhancing both safety and environmental resilience.
“I’m pleased to have been able to work with Sen. Robinson to make this project a reality,” Ortitay said. “This will hopefully help reduce flooding. The area has been hit hard in recent years.”
Jefferson Hills Borough Southeast Regional EMS has been awarded a $300,000 grant to purchase 12 new power stretchers, significantly enhancing emergency medical services and ensuring better care for residents during emergencies.
“Our emergency responders are available day and night to help us in our time of need,” Kuzma said. “This grant will make their jobs a little easier so they can better assist patients. I’m pleased my advocacy helped to secure this funding.”
Quaker Valley Council of Governments will receive $220,800 to upgrade the public works facility by replacing the garage roof, garage doors and main doors, improving its functionality and longevity.
The Municipal Authority of the Township of Robinson has secured a $300,000 grant to replace a waterline along Route 60. This upgrade will improve water reliability and service for the community.

“Ensuring our fire departments have the resources they need to effectively serve our community is a top priority,” said Gaydos. “This investment will provide the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department with the capacity to expand operations and continue its critical work in keeping residents safe. I am proud to advocate for the needs of our local fire departments and will continue to support projects that strengthen public safety across our district.”
“These projects reflect the diverse needs of the district, addressing infrastructure improvements, public safety and environmental resilience,” said Robinson.
The CFA was established in 2004 as an independent agency of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to administer the commonwealth’s economic stimulus packages.
