Program championed by Robinson offers critical support for high-achieving, low-income students
HARRISBURG – Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) today announced that the Ready to Succeed Scholarship program is now accepting applications for the 2025-26 academic year.
Originally created in 2015, this program was recently expanded thanks to legislation sponsored by Robinson which will provide more high-achieving Pennsylvania students pursuing postsecondary education the opportunity to receive financial aid.
“This program is about giving every student the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential,” said Robinson. “The Ready to Succeed Scholarship reflects our commitment to building a stronger, smarter Pennsylvania. I’m proud to see it delivering for students and families across the commonwealth.”
The Ready to Succeed Scholarship is administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) and awards up to $2,500 annually to eligible full-time students, and up to $1,250 for part-time students, who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be Pennsylvania residents
- Be enrolled at least half-time in an approved postsecondary institution
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have a total annual family income not exceeding $175,000
- And meet additional program requirements
“This is an investment in our workforce, our economy and the future of Pennsylvania,” said Robinson. “I strongly encourage eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity.”
Applications are now open. Students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they receive priority consideration. For full details and to apply, visit www.pheaa.org/RTSS.
