I was honored to speak with some of our region’s heroes today at the Bethel Park Chamber’s annual Veterans Day luncheon. I look forward each year to talking about U.S. and military history with fellow veterans at this event. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve!
PA has one of the largest Italian-American populations in the country, and their influence has shaped our state’s history and culture. I am very proud of my heritage, and happy to sponsor legislation alongside my fellow senators @senatorstefano and @senatorpicozzi to designate October as Italian-American Heritage month.
It was a pleasure to meet with representatives from @unitedwayswpa in Harrisburg during session last week. We discussed the work they do with 211 to connect people in southwestern PA with community resources. If you need assistance, 211 can help with food, utilities, housing, and other human service needs
The 37th Senatorial District boasted FOUR finalists in @pennsylvaniadot ’s 2025 School Bus Safety Poster Contest! Congratulations to Lipi and Arjun Kairi, and Akshay and Arya Subash for their impressive artwork that landed them top spots in each of their respective divisions of the competition.
Please join @repmihalek and me for our annual Veterans Breakfast on Friday Nov. 14 from 9-11 a.m. at St. Clair Country Club, 2300 Old Washington Road, Upper St. Clair. The breakfast will consist of a keynote speech by Patrick Keally, author of Year of the Rooster: Vietnam 1969: Ghosts in the Night, a Vietnam veterans panel, and certificate presentation. As chair of the Senate Labor & Industry Committee, I convened a meeting last week where we passed bipartisan legislation to reform unemployment compensation to help victims of domestic violence get benefits faster, prevent benefit cuts for seasonal workers, and protect the integrity of the system by strengthening work search and eligibility requirements.
It was a beautiful morning last week for @townshipofcrescent `s recent Fall Parade and Pumpkins with Police celebration. Thank you to all who joined the fun, festivities, and food!
My offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 4 in observance of Election Day. Normal office hours will resume Wednesday, November 5.
PA students in grades K-12 are invited to help the @paauditorgeneral ’s Office design the cover of its new financial literacy activity book. The book and winner’s artwork will be distributed statewide, and the student’s school will receive a visit from Auditor General Tim DeFoor. The deadline to submit entries has been extended to Nov. 14.
Daylight saving time ends Sunday Nov. 2, so don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before going to bed tonight! This is also a great time to check or change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
Very proud that our own Jefferson Hospital was honored this year through The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Excellence in Patient Safety Program, an honor received by only 22 hospitals statewide. Jefferson is known throughout the Monongahela Valley and South Hills of Pittsburgh for its expert care and comprehensive medical, surgical, and rehabilitative services. We are fortunate to have access to @ahntoday ’s incredible health care network!

Meet Devlin Robinson
Robinson was first elected to the 37th Senatorial District in 2020. His legislative priorities include: lowering and reforming tax codes; assisting and honoring veterans, first responders and law enforcement; supporting small businesses; and enhancing manufacturing and labor opportunities. He has had nine bills signed into law.
