The Allegheny Conference and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council hosted a summit today to discuss defining the future of responsible advanced nuclear deployment in the commonwealth. Industry leaders shared insights on the sector and explored the role of advanced nuclear in achieving energy dominance and spurring economic opportunity.

I joined my colleague, @senator_tartaglione, to introduce legislation designating today as Manufacturing Day in Pennsylvania. Today we celebrate the vital role that manufacturing plays in Pennsylvania’s economy and development. The sector is rapidly growing, and there’s never been a better time to explore a career in modern manufacturing!

Throwback to my Senior Expo last year! This year, my Senior Expo will take place on October 9 from 10am-12pm at the Library Volunteer Fire Company. This free event will have exhibitors from government agencies and senior organizations providing resources on senior services. We look forward to seeing you there!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Early detection is critical, which is why I am a proud co-sponsor of legislation to expand insurance coverage to include additional screenings and other important measures.

Manufacturing is at the heart of Pennsylvania’s economy. It creates family-sustaining jobs, ensures our state remains competitive, and shapes the future of innovation. Proud to support @pa_manufacturers_association celebration of Manufacturing Day in PA and recognize this critical sector’s contributions to our Commonwealth.

Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in Judaism, begins today at sundown. To all who observe this solemn day, I wish you a blessed and peaceful holiday.

As September comes to a close, we must continue to do more to help our veterans who struggle in silence. Awareness for veterans suicide ought to be recognized year round. Please know that help is available, and you are not alone. Veterans or loved ones can utilize the crisis line by calling 988/ texting 838255 or contacting the @pa.dmva for information and resources to get the help they need.

Thank you Cathaoirleach of the Seanad Éireann, Mark Daly, for presenting me and @repmaryjodaley with the Ireland Commissioner Award for creating the Pennsylvania-Ireland Trade Commission. It is my hope that the Commission’s work will bring increased opportunity and prosperity to our Commonwealth!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the @sewickleyvalleyymca Senior Fair! Seniors were able to gather materials to learn about different resources and services available for them in the community.

It was great to learn about the new @mfpaa130 McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority and Allegheny Health Network @ahntoday EMS facility and regional training center. This new facility will be an asset to the surrounding growing communities!



Meet Devlin Robinson
Robinson was first elected to the 37th Senatorial District in 2020. His legislative priorities include: lowering and reforming tax codes; assisting and honoring veterans, first responders and law enforcement; supporting small businesses; and enhancing manufacturing and labor opportunities. He has had nine bills signed into law.
