Last evening, I spoke on the Senate floor in support of transit funding. This is a vital service to my constituents, and this legislation ensures higher safety standards along with the same appropriation recently passed by the House. The bill now heads to the House for concurrence.

Thank you to Veterans Breakfast Club for today’s festive gathering at Christ United Methodist in Bethel Park. If you served in the US Armed Forces and have questions or needs, please contact my office. We can assist or set you up with our American Legion liaison to help get you answers.

Congratulations to Chief Gary James. Mayor Copeland swore him in as the new leader of the Bridgeville Borough Police Department tonight. Thank you for your 35 years of service (and counting) to our community, Chief James.

It’s always a beautiful day to help a neighbor! I was happy to join @feedthechildrenorg, @drinkniagarawater and @moonareasd as they teamed up to provide $150,000 worth of food, water, personal care items, and books to 200 low-income families in @mnpmooncrest Thanks to all who volunteered!
